Winds of change start hitting the middle East, starting from Tunisia, passing by Egypt, and no one knows where or when it ends. As an Egyptian, I'd like to speak about the situation in Egypt, but as a resident in Kuwait, I'll concentrate on the Egyptian reactions here, telling a situation happened for me couple days ago, when I went to finish some procedure about my residency here. It was 8 A.M when I give the application to the employee who was an Egyptian, so I run the following conversation: I: Good morning. The employee: Good morning. I: Congratulation. تزعم إيران محافظتها على التقاليد الإسلامية وكل ما يمت للإسلام، متجاهلة أن العربية والإسلام صنوان لا يفترقان، فإذا ذكرت إحداهما تداعت الأخرى إلى الأذهان. لكن العربية وما يرمز إليها هي ما تحاول إيران طمسه، فمنذ الأيام الأولى لقيام الثورة الإسلامية كان آية الله الخميني يرفض أن يدار حديث باللغة العربية في مجلسه، رغم أنه كان يتقنها، ولو كان ذلك يحدث مع لغة غير العربية لقلنا انه يحق له ذلك انطلاقا من حفاظه على الهوية القومية لبلده، لكن للغة العربية استثناء عند عموم المسلمين، فهي اللغة التي شرفها الله بحمل قرآنه، كما أن خاتم الأنبياء كان عربيا فصيحا، ومازال المسلمون في مشارق الأرض ومغاربها يتلون القرآن بالعربية في صلواتهم. لكننا لا ندري سر الحساسية الرهيبة لإيران من تسمية الخليج بـ "العربي" مع العلم أن هذا الخليج يسكن العرب على ضفتيه سواء في دول الخليج "العربي" أو في إيران نفسها، فهم إيرانيون عرب، مهما حاولت إيران طمس هويتهم العربية. ثم إن دول الخليج العربية لم تبتدع لهذا الخليج اسما، أوصرفت الملايين من أجل تغيير اسمه -كما تزعم إيران-، فلم نسمع أن أحدا أراد تسمية هذا الخلي
